Newness is something we mention regular in this space. We usually find ourselves ordering a dish cooked a different way if not trying a new genre of food altogether.
Do you find yourself many times, like Erin and I, ordering the same general menu items when you go out to eat? We’re quite sure you’d leave your comfort zone and try something new- or even a spin on your traditional fare- if you spent an evening here.
It’s always exciting to visit a restaurant for the first time, and dining at Langermann’s in Canton was no exception.
A benefit of reviewing restaurants for Charmed is trying what to us is a new or unfamiliar “genre” of food. When we walked in to Adela in Fells Point, we were unaware of this new restaurant’s specialty.
We’re going to come clean and admit we didn’t know what “brasserie” was other than a descriptive word for a restaurant, so I looked it up.
Well before their July 4th weekend opening, everyone we know had been “buzzing” about Blue Hill Tavern, and Erin and I finally got a taste firsthand as to what the fuss was all about.
The local restaurants we review are usually new, hip, vibrant or unique. Our latest venture out took us to Talara, and much to their credit it’s a combination of all four.
