K9 Prep School offers a comprehensive training program suited for the elite dog.
K9 Prep was designed to help owners better interpret their four-legged friends’ behavior to ensure a health and safe companionship. Four classes are offered:
1. Freshman | Puppy or Young Dog | Introduction to simple commands (sit, down), socialization, early pup problem solving.
2. Sophomore | Continue obediance commands, problem-solving, proper house manners around children and guests (jumping).
3. Intermediate Education | Review of all commands, stay from a distance, learning with distraction.
4. Advanced | Sit politely for petting, loose leash walking, build reliability, and increased distraction.
K9 prep was designed by Tommy Jackson, who is a certified dog trainer, recent graduate of the Tom Rose Training Academy, and the US K9 Unlimited Academy. Tommy has over 2000 hours working with police service dogs and AKC Obedience trail dogs.
Private classes are also offered, as well as an in-kennel training program designed to train dogs with a master touch.
