Highlandtown Farmers’ Market
July 11 - October 31
Saturdays, 8am - NOON
Bank & Conkling Street - Highlandtown

The Market prides itself as being one of, if not the only, all Maryland producer  Farmers’ Market in Baltimore City. All of the Market producers are located within a 50 mile  radius of Highlandtown!

Farm fresh product offerings include natural free-range brown eggs, pasture raised  chicken & pork, seasonal vegetables, Maryland State Fair award winning fruit, jams, fall  flowering mums, apple cider and more. Locally roasted 100% certified sustainable coffee is  available by the bean or brewed by the cup!

A unique feature of our Market is a bakery that has been family owned and operated  for 81 years. It is a “scratch bakery” that uses no mixes or bake-off items. Most of their  recipes date back to the 1920’s and are still baked on the original brick hearth oven. The  Baltimore Peach Cake and the Apple dumplings are made with the fruit from one of our  Maryland farmers.

Being located in the heart of the Highlandtown Arts & Entertainment District, the  Market provides a creative venue know as ART-ket @ the Market giving area artists and  craftspersons the opportunity to showcase and sell their self-inspired talent and  handcrafted wares.

Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar
May 3 - December 20
Sundays, 8 - NOON
Underneath the Jones Falls Expressway at Holliday & Saratoga Streets

The 33rd annual Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar offers the best deals on  produce, herbs, flowers, fruit and more.  The Baltimore Farmers’ Market is the largest  producers-only market in Maryland.

Everyone is invited to enjoy this one-of-a-kind shopping experience at economical  prices.  While strolling the market, guests can revel at the sight of the largest quantity of  the freshest fruits and vegetables, eggs, a variety of breads from Maryland area farmers,  and delight in homemade treats.  In addition, food vendors add spice to the market with  cultural cuisine, popular pit beef sandwiches, pastries, cheese, and gourmet treats.

NEW to the market this year is the addition of a bazaar with arts, crafts and collectibles. For an application and guidelines, click here.  Please complete two (2) copies of  the Baltimore Bazaar Vendor & Contract Guidelines.

32nd street Farmers Market
Saturdays, 7am - NOON
Parking Lot on E 32 Street and Barclay Streets - Downtown

Founded in 1980, the Market is a non-profit organization offering baked good,  produce, fruit, prepared foods, and flowers to patrons from all economic, social, and ethnic  backgrounds.

The mission is to provide a vehicle for independent vendors to survive large  agribusiness competition, while making available a variety of produce, meat, bread, and  plant selections to an underserved city community. Our vendors provide an opportunity for  farmers to sell their products directly to the public, and for the public to benefit from  access to fresh food that they would not otherwise have available to them in the immediate  area. All funds collected from Market vendor spaces fees and membership donations are  put toward market expenses. Any profits after expenses are paid are donated back to the  community in the form of annual grants to local nonprofits.

Village of Cross Keys Farmers’ Market
June 6 - October 31
Tuesdays, 10am - 2pm
Parking Lot -  Village of Cross Keys | 5100 Falls Road | 410.592.6095

Smaller than the others, Village of Cross Key Farmers’ Market was opened to give  farmers another opportunity to sell their foods and to give consumers an organic option  before the weekend. The Tuesday time slot keeps crowds smaller, which is appealing to the  weekday gourmet in search of the perfect pepper, the freshest herbs and the ripest berries.   Here are some other farmer’s markets listed in the Baltimore area on the Maryland Department of Agriculture website. Again, I can write a blurb about each one if you would like to use them in a spread.
