Crimson & Clover, a familiar corner storefront on Boston Street in Canton, has moved to Roland Park just off Roland Avenue on Deepdene Road. Amy Epstein, floral designer and owner, is looking forward to the much-needed expansion and customized interior which her burgeoning business has needed for quite some time.
In her new 1522 square foot space, Ms. Epstein, along with Willard Architects, LLC, has been able to oversee the architectural design of the interior to include a separate meeting room for brides and special event planners, an open design center, and a large walk-in refrigerated ‘flower market’ where flower lovers will be able to choose individual stems or have a designer create a custom made bouquet on the spot.
“I am grateful for what being in Canton has done for my business,” says Ms. Epstein. “I will miss my neighbors and friends, but am excited about this opportunity and looking forward to seeing how this new location will help me build new friendships as well as the business.” Ms. Epstein occupied the Boston Street location for seven years.
In addition to individual flowers and bouquets, Crimson & Clover will offer a boutique of decorative at-home accessories including in exclusive line of unique containers, giftware, body products, and will debut its original Candy Bar, giving clients yet one more gift idea to take away from the store. Although Ms. Epstein prefers to offer local varieties of flowers whenever possible, she also sources her flowers from many different countries all over the globe.
The new interior, designed with consultant Stephanie Bradshaw of Bradshaw Styling, will envelope guests in soothing aqua, rich clay brown and fresh yellow walls, featuring a large vintage window pane through which clients may view designs in the making. The newly opened up ceiling and exposed duct work creates a modern industrial look that contrasts perfectly with the soft accent of femininity that is found in the flowers and other giftware.
Ms. Epstein offers full design consultation for brides, special event planners and individuals for their gala, private party, or other event needs. All designs are custom created for each unique order.
This space was leased from The Segall Group with the assistance of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate. On-street and covered garage parking on Deepdene Road is available. Grand opening appreciation is extended to Absolute Entertainment, Absolutely Perfect Catering, Borrowed Blue Photography, Chelle Paperie, Select Event Rentals, The Wine Bin and Write Style.
