Fried Chicken & Champagne|

It is summer, you’re going on a picnic and you have the ever-so-favorite picnic food – Fried Chicken. For an unusual and delicious twist, why not serve it with a nicely chilled bottled of Champagne. Champagne is the ideal match for Fried Chicken. Its bubbles and acid work with the salt and fat in the fried chicken. The toasty yeastiness of the Champagne will pair well with the crisp, moist and crunchiness of the Fried Chicken. It’s a great way to mix “everyday” with “special occasion.” Don’t reserve Champagne just for a fancy meal or celebration - Champagne is wine and should be served with all types of food. The bubbles in Champagne are a good flavor enhancer and will intensify most flavors. Go ahead and plan the best picnic ever – add a bottle of Champagne and some Fried Chicken.
