There is a transformation that occurs when a man knows that he is dressed his best. When he is wearing clothing that fits properly he stands tall and confident, ready to take on the world. It is a wonderful thing to see and in my business I am fortunate to experience it often. I believe that every man needs at least one outfit that makes him look and feel his absolute best for life’s biggest moments.
The Interview | In today’s tough economy a smart investment in your appearance is more valuable than ever. I see many candidates for jobs wearing their navy blazer from college and a pair of khakis or an ill-fitting off the rack in attempt to land the position for which they went to school for years. Don’t be penny wise and pound foolish when it comes to the interview suit, it will pay itself off in no time after you land the job.
Court Date | Whether you are the lawyer, the plaintiff, or the defendant your suit needs to be on point in the court room. If you think that you are only being judged by what you are saying then you are mistaken. Showing up for court without looking your best is a sign of disrespect to the judge; and it’s best not to do that.
Wedding | Now we all know that the wedding day is about the bride, but it’s alright for the groom to look great too. Instead of wearing a rental tuxedo, you could get a great suit that you wear on your wedding day and actually use again (unlike the brides dress!) Even if you are just a guest to this momentous occasion, everyone should dress the part for this happy day.
Presentations| When you are making the important presentation to the potential clients that you worked so hard to meet don’t spoil it with inappropriate clothing. Let your message be heard and don’t be underdressed for this pivotal day. When it really counts, be sure to bring you’re “A” game.
Funerals| Sooner or later we all end up at one, whether it’s friend’s, family member’s, or it’s our own. This is not the day to not have a suit that just doesn’t do the trick because emotions will be running high. Plan in advance and be ready because notice is not usually given of these events.
Socially| If you are single or married, you are never too old to dress to impress. For the single gent, a smart sport coat with a colorful lining is a great conversation starter. For the married man, a fresh outfit to take her out on the town and remind her why she fell for you in the first place.
Everyday| Wearing clothes that are made for you are by far the most comfortable garments you can ever have. Plus you can have the exact self expression and style that you desire. I am able to make all kinds of clothes from casual to formal and the cost is less than you might expect. When I make your suit, shirts, sport coats or trousers it is made for you, from scratch. You pick the fabric, lining, buttons, pockets, collars, cuffs, flat fronts or pleated trousers, etc. Why be unprepared when life’s biggest moments come along? Why not be prepared for them… and look great along the way?

Chris so glad you put the piece in about groom’s getting a custom suit instead of renting. An ill fitting suit is the worst when photographing a groom at a wedding. Keep up the excellent work and writing informative pieces.

I really enjoyed your article. I think today, we don’t give what we wear enough thought.
We have lost some of the proper dress code over the years. It is nice to give have a point of reference from your information, and awareness of what is proper attire.
This is a great service.
Great Job Chris

Great article Chris. I look forward for some advice on putting together a basic business wardrobe, especially some of the basic foundation pieces you need.
Thanks

I believe this is a very informative and friendly reminder article. It is refreshing to know that a perfect fitting attire can make you feel your best within, also project a positive attitude on the exterior. A well written article and a good man.

Why you doggin’ my blue blazer? And don’t you know khakis are slimming?
What do Joe Leiberman and Ken Star have in common?
They both think blue slacks and a blue blazer make a suit.
Great article my friend. Its great to see you doing well. Keep up the good work.

Excellent advice, well written article, Chris! Baltimore’s gain is London’s loss when it comes to male bespoke clothing.

Interesting article. It makes sense to build your wardrobe with higher quality clothing that make you feel confident and comfortable at the same time instead of lots of cheaper versions that don’t fit or feel as nice.

I couldn’t agree with this article more. What you wear can help you stand out from the crowd and make a memorable impression. The service you provide is not only helping people look their best, but also helping those that find it impossible to shop off the racks.
